This is a two session introductory course to this traditional embroidery technique. Further sessions to follow.

The Crafts of Poverty

This course will introduce you to 2 crafts whose origins lie in the poor and working class communities of England c1800 – 1950’s. The course will introduce the historical background to each craft, the theory and then you will be able to make samples.
