If you cannot attend one of my rag rugging courses then one of my rag rug kits will have you successfully rag rugging with my unique mini rag rug to help you learn. A 'distance learning kit' built upon my experiences of being an OU graduate and Tutor.
Embroidery and Rag Rugging sessions for 2020
Roundswell Community Centre, Barnstaple [Near Sainsbury’s]
Sessions are now commencing after a 6 month break due to Covid Virus.
Sessions are taking place in the hall rather than the committee room and you will have a table to yourself being social distanced from other students.
I have purchased visas that you will wear and keep for attending each session.
You need to bring your own drink as the kitchen will not be open.
Fee per session depends upon the number in the group. This is on a sliding scale depending upon the number in the session:
6 folk: £17
5 folk: : £20
4 folk: £26
This is not a club but a 'Teaching & Learning New Skills' Class.
There is the oppportunity to learn surface embroidery, goldwork embroidery, ribbon embroidery and stumpwork along with multi media projects. You can also learn several techniques of rag rugging.
At each session students will work on their own chosen project from the above list and as shown in the images below. You will receive one-to-one tutition.
