A rag Rug that I completed 2 weeks ago and has been hanging on the pillar at the Visitors Centre, Clovelly.
The design is inspired by the Clovelly logo [the green painted tops of the gates and posts].
The black border is denim jeans, teh green triangles are duvet covers and the blue background is a striped duvet cover and blue denim jeans.
3 techniques have been used here: Proddy, Hooky and knitting. Made from two duvet covers.

Inspired by the gardens at Sutton Place, Surrey designed by Jelico for Paul Getty.
The golden garden is gold work embroidery.
What appear to be ‘cauliflowers’ represent the mowed lawn and surrounding wild meadow.
